Dr. Michael Green is a board-certified Obstetrics and Gynecology physician with more than 25 years of clinical experience in women’s health. Over the course of his career as a full-scope OB/GYN, he has delivered more than 5,000 babies, building a deep foundation in reproductive and hormonal care. His extensive hands-on experience informs his evidence-based approach to menopause treatment and personalized hormone therapy.
Dr. Green earned his medical degree from St. Louis University, completed a Family Medicine residency, and later pursued a second residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Recognizing the gaps many women face in accessing menopause care, he co-founded Winona to expand safe, informed access to hormone replacement therapy through telehealth. He also serves as Winona’s Chief Medical Officer and continues to practice clinically as an OB hospitalist and at the Lake Arrowhead Rural Health Clinic.
Passionate about women’s health and digital care innovation, Dr. Green combines decades of clinical expertise with modern telemedicine leadership to help women navigate menopause with clarity, confidence, and support. Outside of medicine, he has been happily married since 1988 and is the father of three grown sons. He enjoys skiing, fishing, and staying active while keeping a balance between family, health, and his career.
