Fatigue

Fatigue is common during perimenopause and menopause. It can be due to changes in the levels of estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and thyroid hormones in the body, making you feel exhausted. These hormones help regulate sleep, metabolism, body temperature, and the cellular energy within the body.

Fatigue can be a distressing and sometimes debilitating menopause symptom. It could result from poor-quality sleep due to hot flashes and night sweats or the result of hormonal fluctuations themselves. By replenishing decreasing hormones through HRT, sleep and anxiety can improve and help with the overall feeling of fatigue.
