Hair Thinning or Loss

Thinning hair on the scalp is common during perimenopause and menopause. While hair loss is often associated with aging in men, women also experience similar changes in hair volume due to shifting hormone levels. With the decline in estrogen levels, hair follicles may shrink, causing hair to grow more slowly and shed more easily. This can lead to noticeable thinning or hair loss on the scalp.
